This Christmas, we welcome Canary Wharf Ice Rink as new clients.
Known as London’s 5 Star Ice Rink, this is situated in the heart of London’s business world in Tower Hamlets, East London. As well as a main rink, bar and restaurant, it also includes London’s only skate path, which lies along-side trees sparkling with fairy-lights, creating an exciting Christmassy atmosphere – something different for city-goers of all ages to enjoy over the festive season.
From November to February, Image Insight will be providing our VEGA photo solution here, in the form of:
- a green screen photo solution offering 5 suitably icy background images
- a sales redemption area – fully branded by us in accordance with the client’s brand guidelines
We have used our experience to create a photo solution in which visitors are guided through in a way which maximises sales at the same time as being ever mindful of the customer’s experience. Within this ‘forced workflow’ system, visitors have their photograph taken before they enter the rink; with viewing and purchasing available afterwards. The high quality, multiple images provided by our green screen solution, combined with our staff training, an effective workflow and a good ‘Buy 2 Get 1 Free’ package deal, all work beautifully together to produce great returns.

Installation – we take great pride in ensuring that the installation process runs as smoothly as possible for our clients, even working outside of normal working hours where necessary. Our staff also includes professional, experienced photographers who ensure that our cameras, lighting etc. are always optimal for the job. Where camera hides are used with a green screen, as at Canary Wharf, because of the way we set it up, taking quality photos is as easy for the client as pressing a single button!
Professional Quality Equipment with redundancy built in – we use the best equipment for the job and always have back-ups, with additional cameras, printers etc squirrelled away on-site just in case.
Client Branding – our camera hide, posters, POS signage, screen presentation, photo overlays & folders, microsite etc are professionally produced by our experienced team and fully branded according to the client’s own brand guidelines.
Staff Training – despite the comprehensive nature of our VEGA software, it’s been designed to be simple to use, so existing staff can be easily trained to use it. We provide full training, bespoke documentation and ongoing support to all of our clients. And, using your own staff means that they can maintain a dual role, which is great for profit margins!
Ongoing Quality Control – we perform daily morning checks to ensure that everything is working to the high standards we expect.
Remote Access – our systems have remote access built in. We have found that most problems can be resolved remotely but, in the unlikely event that we are needed on-site, we will be there.
Remote Monitoring of Financial Statistics – our system includes a variety of analytical tools which are also available to the client for ongoing, live assessment. This means you can monitor various aspects of your operation as they’re happening and quickly make whatever changes you see fit. For example, you might want to introduce a staff incentive scheme or only offer the best selling products – you can do this with the help of our statistics.
